Hmm, I have not written in a while. During this time (which I should be using to study for a midterm) I will give to all my (2? Maybe 3?) readers what I have been up to.
Nothing really.
How fascinatingly boring!
Calvin once said, "Life needs cheaper thrills." I agree with him, 100%. Hm, what is there to talk about? My thesis is going okay; it's interesting at least. I am in love with my sister's guitar, and will soon be divorcing Betty (hopefully). Graduation inches closer, but I feel no anticipation nor anxiety. To be honest, and let's be honest, life marches inexorably towards some end; we're always in the process of "getting there," it's just that "there" doesn't really matter (or exist) and how fortunate that is!
Jeremy is now 14 years old. Apparently he's a big lady's man. Actually, I have no idea if he is, but I like to think so. But it was quite weird seeing him the past couple of days. While Amy and I remain pretty static (I think our "growing up" is over... maybe not Amy, haha), he changes everytime I see him. Longer hair, taller, skinnier, more concerned with reputation, etc. He is, after all, a teenager; sulky and entitled. I might need to knock some more sense in him, in a loving manner.
The here is mundane, and the there is overrated. I hope heaven has cheaper thrills.
